Song library and licensing

Keep your song library and worship aid workflow together.

Organize the hymn information your church reuses, place it into the worship aid, and retain usage data for the reporting process your license requires.

    A parish song library

Stop rebuilding hymn entries every week

The song library is included on every WorshipAid plan. It keeps the text and identifying details your team needs close to the document where the song will be used.

    Keep the useful details

Store a song's title, composer, lyrics, copyright notice, language, tags, and CCLI or ONE LICENSE number with the library entry.

    Reuse parish repertoire

Search the church's library and insert a song into a new worship aid without finding and formatting the same lyrics again.

    Print clear attribution

When the relevant details are supplied, WorshipAid can include writer, copyright, CCLI song, and parish-license information with the song.

    Licensing-aware, not a license

Keep permission and reporting responsibilities clear

Copyrighted hymn lyrics require permission. A WorshipAid subscription does not replace a church's license from CCLI, ONE LICENSE, a publisher, or another rights holder. Your church determines which license applies and submits the reports required by that provider.

WorshipAid supports that process by keeping song and license details with your content and recording eligible song usage when an aid is completed. It does not currently transmit reports automatically.

    Factual usage records

Know which library songs appeared in completed aids

Usage tracking is tied to the document lifecycle so unfinished drafts do not inflate counts. If a completed aid is reopened, its usage records are cleared until the document is completed again.

    Completion is the checkpoint

Draft autosaves do not create usage records. WorshipAid records included library songs when the worship aid is marked complete.

    Service date stays attached

Each recorded use includes the worship aid and its service date, creating structured data for the church's reporting workflow.

    Your church remains responsible

WorshipAid does not purchase a license, decide whether a use is permitted, or file a report with a licensing provider on your behalf.

    One connected workflow

Move from hymn library to print-ready PDF

Add songs beside readings, prayers, responses, and announcements, review the complete page flow, and export the material for the pew. See how those pieces fit together in the online worship aid builder.

Prepare your next worship aid in minutes, not hours.
